Our client, a leading retailer, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Finance, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong full-cycle accounting experience and a proactive, team-player attitude.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full accounting cycle
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Prepare bank reconciliations and month-end close
- Prepare GST/QST filings
- Support audits by reviewing accounts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial standards, and regulations
- Assist in managing the accounting department and ERP systemsQualifications:- 5 years of accounting experience
- Accounting certificate, DEC, DEP or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proficiency ERP systems
- Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills
