How about a stable job that offers excellent advancement opportunities, all while helping build a greener future?This job is for you!We are looking for a production operator to join our team in Calgary!The production operator purpose is to transfer incoming raw product from tanker trucks and operate specialized equipment to further process the raw material into a dried finished product under strict guidelines that is packaged for shipment.Why Join Sanimax :Competativew hourly wage starting at 27.55$ with an increase to 28.07$ after 3 months.Progressive wage scale from 27.55$ up to 37.13$Steady and prédicable work schedule; working twelve hour shifts on a day and night rotation.Day shift hours are from 6h00 - 18h00 and night shift from 18h00 - 6h00Team work and collaborative work environnementDuties and responsibilities:Unloading of animal blood with the use of hoses and pumps;Lab testing of incoming animal blood to ensure that it meets operational guide lines;Prepare and clean the tanker using an automated and manual washing system;Separation, Concentration and Drying of raw product;Bagging of finished product in powder format, while wearing protective mask.Carrying and pilling 25 kg (55 lbs) bags of finished products or chemicals.Operate specialised equipment to further process the finished product for shipment.Follow samples procedures for third party lab tests.Clean any process spill (animal blood and similar product)Monitor and record process data on a computerDocumentation: maintain all required documentation related to their duties.House Keeping: Clean equipment and floors are per process and house keeping rules.Qualifications:Grade twelve education or equivalentPrevious experience as an equipment operatorKnowledge in HACCPAbility to work under minimal supervisionWork in a multi-cultural team environmentBasic computer skillsSpeaks both French & EnglishPhysical requirements:Standing for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 55 Lbs repetitivelyBe in good physical conditionGive meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
