Watson Lake Home Care provides client-centred services in client's homes to support them as they age in place.Your roleResponsible for the professional nursing care for Home Care clients in Watson Lake, the Home Care Nurse-Home Support Supervisor coordinates client care and collaborates with other Home Care staff (ie. Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists) and community partners, including Liard First Nation. This position involves care coordination for Home Care clients in Watson Lake and surrounding area, including long-term care admissions and hospital discharges. This role requires a Registered Nurse with excellent assessment skills and a passion for community practice. As a supervisor to full-time and on-call home support workers, this position is responsible for recruiting, training, supporting and scheduling staff as they work in clients' homes as part of the home support program.

- Eligible for Registered Nurse registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority
- Recently applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques, gained through direct experience providing care to seniors, adults, and/or children, preferably in a home care setting
- Team leader and/or supervisory experience
- Ability to provide professional care for client by promoting their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being
- Ability to provide leadership, coaching and training to members of the team
- Excellent critical thinking, relationship building and conflict management skills
- Strong understanding of working with various cultural backgrounds
