- Analyze work orders for completeness of material and resources.
- Maintain production schedules to align with commitments.
- Estimate delivery dates for quotes and orders.
- Maintain plant on-time delivery performance or above 95%.
- Release jobs to the production floor.
- Review material resources plans (daily) and identify issues with MRP, transfers, and raw materials
- Review reports, variances and other data (e.g. scrap, rework) from production.
- Schedule, expedite, and coordinate the movement of jobs.
- Conduct cycle counts for finished goods.
- Identify losses to inventory and conduct root-cause analysis of such losses.
- Maintain accurate and adequate WIP inventory for various stocking programs.
- Monitor raw material inventories and forecast demand.
- Plan and schedule replenishment jobs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the production planning function and processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to the production planning process.
- Support and initiate LEAN practices
- Able to perform in a high-volume, results-focused work environment.
- Able to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to use Microsoft Windows applications.
- Advanced Excel knowledge skills.
- Able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision (i.e. self-directed).
- Superior analytical problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of the manufacturing process.

- Experience in a large industrial manufacturing companies preferred.
- 1-3 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
