
Vice President Operations - Construction

- 15+ years of leadership experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or general contracting, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior management role.
- Deep understanding of construction operations, contract negotiations, project management, and financial oversight.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading large teams.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario construction regulations, labor laws, and safety compliance requirements.
- Lead and oversee civil and general contracting projects, including excavation, concrete work, underground utility installations, and building erection.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet project objectives.
- Ensure projects adhere to scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor project milestones, review progress reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships to expand Dewar’s presence in the industrial construction sector.
