- Inspect trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment, in a fleet environment, for proper performance
- Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment
- Adjust equipment and replacing faulty parts
- Repair damaged equipment parts
- Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy-duty and automotive vehicles
- Repair and service machine attachments
- Perform major repair work when necessary
- Consult with other Mechanics and Supervisor when needed
- Report damaged or faulty equipment to management
- Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System
- Perform other duties as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Apprenticeship Documentation
- Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Understanding of computer testing technologies
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic & electrical systems, and construction equipment
- Must have a Class 5 driver’s license at minimum
- CVIP license preferred
- Ability to work after-hours if required
- Good communication skills
