Brief Description:Our employer is a residential care facility looking for a pleasant, trustworthy receptionist. You are a people person and thrive on meeting and helping others. You will be reporting to the Executive Director and helping with every department at the, ensuring that our campus runs smoothly.Job Function:Receptionist Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of administrative support by answering and directing incoming calls, overseeing mail
  • Greet all visitors to the office
  • Ensure all visitors sign in
  • Accept and sign for all couriered packages
  • Prepare all outgoing mailings
  • Open and close the office as needed
  • Write and print greeting cards, send e-cards on an as-needed basis
Office Maintenance
  • Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and operational needs of the office, including internet connectivity, phone systems, and general office upkeep.
  • Monitor the condition of the office and building facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning work environment.
  • Coordinate with municipal services and building management as required to address facility-related matters.
  • Arrange and liaise with external service providers (e.g., plumbers, electricians, and other contractors) for maintenance and repairs as needed.
Accounting Support
  • Assist with reconciling credit card bills
  • Assist with donation receipts on an as-needed basis
  • Issue receipts to program participants

Job Requirement:Preferred Qualifications and Traits
  • Previous success in receptionist or administrative roles
  • Highly organized and able to multitask efficiently
  • Advanced computer skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including a high level of proficiency in Excel
