- Advocacy & Litigation: Representing clients in various legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations.
- File Management: Overseeing all aspects of a litigation caseload, including client consultations, discovery, and strategic planning.
- Document Drafting: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
- Strategic Analysis: Distilling large volumes of information into clear, persuasive advocacy and simplified language for clients.
- Collaboration: Working alongside internal teams to develop innovative case strategies and uphold exceptional service standards.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited institution.
- Bar Admission: Member in good standing with the Law Society of New Brunswick (or eligible for immediate transfer).
- Experience: 4+ years of post-call experience, specifically within a litigation-focused role.
- Skills: * Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently.
- Superior analytical, legal research, and writing capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
