Job DescriptionWhat your weeks are going to look like
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for UI-related issues on the project, both internally and with external partners;
  • Illustrate and design video game interface elements;
  • Contributing to the development of a game's visual style;
  • Conduct visual research;
  • Sketch, conceptualize, and implement interfaces;
  • Develop navigation flowcharts;
  • Assemble and initially integrate designs into Unity game engines;
  • Documenting process workflows for the production team or the client;
  • Supporting UI designers by providing guidance and sharing best practices;
  • Contributing to the evolution of UI tools, templates, and workflows used within the studio;
  • Participating in project retrospectives and drawing lessons to improve future UI processes.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for
  • College training in graphic design, visual arts, multimedia or other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in video game interface design;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Unity game engine;
  • Knowledge of user/machine behavior (ergonomics);
  • Mentoring skills;
  • Excellent command of the French and English languages (written and spoken). English skills are required as we work with English-speaking partners.
  • Portfolio and/or demo required.
