Senior Brand Manager

- Lead in the establishment of Zensurance as a top-of-mind and preferred commercial insurance broker for small businesses.
- Have ownership of and develop the Zensurance brand from a creative perspective, creating consistency across all the channels such as social media, video, advertising, and traditional media.
- Manage brand aesthetic and creative design direction.
- Analyze competitive position, research, and define brand metrics to drive awareness, engagement and sentiment.
- Work closely with all functions of the marketing team in all areas of customer and employee-facing messaging to develop a cohesive messaging strategy.
- Develop a brand playbook and guidelines through internal and external research while collaborating with internal teams.
- Develop and lead multimedia ideation and execution while providing creative direction. Implement, develop, and identify survey metrics (such as employee, consumer, and customer).
- Develop a framework for customer segments, personas and geographies to drive personalized messaging.
- Work closely with the marketing team and external partners in identifying brand media opportunities and executing projects.
- Develop and define positioning values, mission and strategy.
- Collaborate with the UX team and coordinate creative testing to ensure brand alignment.
- Manage ad channels including social media, paid research, public relations partnerships and web creative design.
- Have input into all ad channels from social media and paid search to PR and web creative design.
- Champion brand attribution across multiple stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- University degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management.
- Ability to measure and analyze data to develop insights.
- Experience providing guidelines and direction for creative strategy and process.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Qualitative and Quantitative user research theory and testing experiences are assets.
- Experience with paid media platforms, especially traditional media, and advertising, media buying is an asset.
- B2C or small business B2B marketing experience.
- Exposure to graphic design, illustration, photography and videography is an asset.
- Adobe creative suite or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ability to champion brand adaptation with buy in from multiple stakeholders.
