
Plant Operations Superintendent

- Direct the operations teams in the performance of their day to day activities;
- Organize the operational tasks and allocate them to the relevant teams;
- Oversee the effective operation of the plant in accordance with the safety and production requirements;
- Ensure the documents relating to the works (safety documentation, daily report, logbook, etc.) are correctly completed by the operators;
- Take control of the distribution of tasks to manage holidays and/or absences;
- Maintain recognition and discipline for all direct report
- Collaborate with the maintenance manager and maintenance team to ensure all required proactive and corrective maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.
- Prepares and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other operational documents
- Develop and maintain operators' training and competencies on the plant operations
- Prepare different reports for the attention of the Plant Manager;
- Is capable of trouble shooting the plant when not operating at the expected level
- Recommend process optimization
- Is responsible for leading the Management of Change (MoC) processes
- Participate in the investigation of work-related accidents;
- All other related tasks.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the fields of anaerobic digestion/biogas or wastewater treatment.
- Technical certifications and/or diploma in operations or engineering;
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position;
- Relevant experience in managing personnel;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Autonomy;
