
Configuration Engineering Specialist

- Performs work in accordance with CSA N286 and/or ASME NQA-1.
- Supervises the implementation of configuration management plans, policies and procedures.
- Supports the Engineering Teams’ identification and characterization of Configuration Items.
- Serves as a central point of contact for Configuration Management related activities.
- Reviews submitted Change Requests from the Engineering Teams.
- Verifies accurate documentation associated with changes to baseline system configurations.
- Reports on status of Change Requests to the Configuration Management Manager.
- Attends meetings and acts as Secretary to the Configuration Management Team (CMT).
- Supervises maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Supervises maintenance of the Issues and Assumptions Registers (IAR).
- Plans/Performs Configuration Audits of systems to verify compliance with established baselines.

- BEng or BSc (Process Engineering Preferred) or higher.
- A minimum of five years' experience in Nuclear/Aerospace/Defense or a Related Field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or Equivalent is an asset.
- Familiarity with Nuclear Codes & Standards.
- Solid understanding of Configuration Management principles (e.g., MIL-STD-973 or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of Requirements Management principles (e.g., familiarity with Rational DOORS).
- Computer Proficiency (e.g., EXCEL, WORD).
- Strong Verbal and Written Communications Skills.
- Significant Organizational Skills
