Adecco is currently hiring an Mechanical Assembler for a full-time position in a production environment. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling parts, components, and products using various tools and equipment while following technical specifications and safety standards. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, accuracy, and efficiency on the production floor.Pay Rate: $20/hourLocation: Brockville, ONSchedule: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)Contract: Temporary or temp-to-permVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications to assemble products accuratelyPerform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power toolsInstall mechanical equipment, piping, components, and support structures according to specificationsHandle a variety of materials, from large components to small intricate partsEnsure proper fitting, alignment, and adjustment to meet inspection and quality standardsAssist with final system assembly or installation at customer sites when requiredSupport team members across departments (Team Leads, Electrical, Test teams) to meet production goalsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspaceFollow all company safety policies and report hazards, near misses, or incidents promptlyContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to company processesRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentsStrong communication and teamwork skillsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environmentPhysical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive tasksAbility to stand for extended periods and handle, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbsMust be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.Interested in this position?
