- Program, commission, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
- Configure I/O, control logic, and communication networks
- Integrate PLC systems with building automation, monitoring, and supervisory platforms
- Perform calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters, and field devices
- Support commissioning and verification activities
- Diagnose and resolve control system, instrumentation, and communication issues
- Assist with panel design review, wiring checks, and field installations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams
- Participate in project turnover, documentation, and client training
- Review technical drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructability
- Interest in learning design using AutoCAD and Bluebeam, preparing them for seamless field installation.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve cohesive system integration across all phases of the project.
- Instrumentation, Electrical, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems, however, candidates with more extensive experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with building automation integration is an asset
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control theory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
- High standards for safety, quality, and documentation
