- Supports the various operations and initiatives of the order execution department
- Helps detect violations of municipal bylaws and reports them for intervention by the department
- Uses cartographic resources to detect intrusions on City land and undocumented uses
- Supports the City in raising awareness of compliance with municipal bylaws and for lightning initiatives
- Promotes the Bylaw Enforcement Service at community events
- Prepare an information booth; welcomes and answers questions from the public about service and compliance with orders
- Supports the City in collecting information with a view to the regulation conceptions or evaluating them
- Occasionally supports the service with entry control during crowd activities
- Participates in carrying out all other related tasks
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies in a college or university program.
- Confirms a return to studies in September 2026
- General first aid (offered by the city)
- Holder of a driving license, Class 5
- Acceptable level of experience in a work-related field or with customer service or as a volunteer
- Experience or interest in working in the areas of compliance, regulatory enforcement, public service or the justice system
- Good written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Good knowledge of the Windows 365 IT environment and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Able to work independently and/or in a team, and without sustained supervision
- Demonstrates initiative and good judgment
- Good knowledge of cartographic software is an asset
- Ability to communicate with the public or experience in marketing are assets
- Thirty-five (35) hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends
- According to policy A-29 – Hiring of student personnel
- Ten (10) weeks from June 22, 2026
