- Design, build, and support integrations between enterprise applications, operational platforms, and cloud services
- Develop and maintain APIs, connectors, and event-driven workflows to enable reliable data exchange across systems
- Support system interoperability through integration patterns such as REST APIs, messaging, webhooks, and scheduled data movement
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data flow issues, and workflow exceptions across multiple platforms
- Document interface requirements, data mappings, and integration logic to support maintainability and supportability
- Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve process consistency
- Build workflows using low-code tools, custom scripting, and cloud services to automate business and operational processes
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend automation opportunities that improve quality, speed, and efficiency
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and exception handling for both automations and integrations
- Help identify integration and automation opportunities and contribute to value assessment
- Assess business challenges and recommend practical integration and automation approaches
- Support prioritization of initiatives by providing technical input, estimates, and delivery considerations
- Apply established integration and automation standards, patterns, and best practices
- Contribute to reusable templates, connectors, and solution patterns
- Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, and compliance requirements
- Support operational stability through testing, monitoring, audit support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Identify and help remediate technical debt, performance risks, and automation failure points
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into practical integration and automation solutions
- Clearly document and present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with other developers and support citizen-automation initiatives where appropriate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience in application integration, automation development, software development, or systems integration, with at least 2 years working with workflow automation, low-code, or RPA platforms
- Proven experience designing and delivering automation and integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations, data exchange patterns, and workflow orchestration, including REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with integration and cloud technologies such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management
- Experience using workflow automation and low-code tools (e.g., Power Platform, UiPath, Prefect or similar) to build scalable, efficient solutions
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-system issues, including data flows, interfaces, and transaction failures
- Working knowledge of integration security practices (e.g., OAuth, service principals, secrets management, role-based access)
- Experience building resilient, maintainable integrations and end-to-end automation solutions
- Familiarity with intelligent document processing tools (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence, ABBYY) and an understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, industrial systems, or operational data environments, as well as exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
