In this role, you will be a key contributor to the integrity of our financial records, overseeing essential General Ledger functions, managing daily cash operations, and ensuring a seamless month-end and year-end close process.Responsibilities:General LedgerManage daily cash functions, including monitoring bank balances, processing cash receipts, and supporting wire transfers or ACH paymentsAssist with month-end and year-end financial close processPrepare monthly GL and bank account reconciliationsResponsible for preparing various monthly standard journal entriesKnowledge of asset management to include capitalization, transfers and disposal of assetsSupport the reconciliation of warehouse inventoryOther responsibilities as assigned to support the teamGeneral:Support the quarterly and annual external audit processAssist with the ongoing design, enhancements and compliance with Internal Audit proceduresPrepare and review trends and other analytics to aide in management reporting and ensure integrity of the financial recordsSupport the annual re-forecast and budget preparationOther ad-hoc assignmentsReporting:Maintain monthly lease commitment schedulesPrepare annual PA Business Privilege Tax filingsCompile information for copyright reportingCompile information for Property Tax filings for multiple states and fiscal periodsQualifications:Associate’s Degree in Accounting/FinancePreferred 2 years of experience in similar roleKnowledge of accounting principlesExperience with financial packages (preferably Workday Financial Management)Strong excel and word skillsExperience leveraging AI-driven tools and automation software to optimize accounting workflows and enhance financial reporting integrityEnthusiastic and positive attitude with the ability to work independentlyStrong organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeYou’ll benefit from:Flexibility: Yes, we think that what you do matters.
