The team supports the safe, secure, and timely handling of banknotes to meet public demand across Canada, operating in a secure environment with high accountability standards.As a Student, Currency Operations, you will work alongside experienced operational staff to support day-to-day currency processing activities while learning how national-scale operations manage risk, quality, and volume variability in a highly automated setting.With guidance and training, you will:
  • Assist with banknote shipping, receiving, processing, and reconciliation activities
  • Enter and verify data in operational systems to support real-time operational decisions
  • Follow custody, control, and security procedures in a high-accountability environment
  • Work safely in a highly automated, robotics-driven operational facility
  • Support the documentation or improvement of operational processes
  • Contribute to basic analysis tied to real operational decisions
What you need to succeed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, structured environment
  • Comfort performing physical tasks (standing for extended periods; lifting parcels up to ~24 kg)
Your education and experienceTo qualify, you need to be currently enrolled as a student in a related field at a college or university (undergraduate level).
