- Maintain & submit hourly & salary payroll in accordance w/Hubbell Canada and statutory requirements
- Maintain & submit hourly & salary payroll in accordance w/REF Automation and statutory requirements
- Maintain & submit salary payroll payroll in accordance w/Multiwave Sensors and statutory requirements
- Reconcile all payrolls & prepare required remittances and adjusting entries
- Calculating hourly vacation pay & reconciles to accrual account
- Provide support for hourly & salary DB/DC Pension//Flex/RRSP/Retirement Savings Plans
- Provide administrative assistance to Director and Finance Dept.
- Assist in month end report filing, maintains filing system and reconciliations for legal and accounting fees.
- Reconciles Charitable contributions for Hubbell Canada
- Backup to other accounting functions as required
- Perform other ad hoc requests as assigned
- University graduate or equivalent. (Business or Finance)
- Minimum 3-5 years business related experience
- Member of Payroll Institute preferred (PCP -Payroll Compliance Professional)
- In-depth knowledge of payroll functions and legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications and ADP payroll system
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong reconciliation and analysis capabilities
