- Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that integrates infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data platforms leveraging to support BU goals.
- Lead the design and governance of a shared technology foundation that enables interoperability, scalability, and security across Oncology and Multi-Specialty in compliance with McKesson Enterprise standards and Governance models.
- Drive simplification and rationalization of enterprise services, minimizing redundancy and vendor sprawl while preserving flexibility and innovation.
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven solutions, tools and platforms, ensuring the technology stack is future-ready for advanced analytics, decision support, and automation.
- Drive assurance that roadmaps address compliance needs and solutions adhere to enterprise-define non-functional requirements.
- Architect modular, interoperable solutions that connect enterprise services with clinical, operational, and research workflows.
- Ensure robust integration patterns, common data models, and API strategies that support seamless data exchange and analytics.
- Champion adoption of industry standards to enable consistent and high-quality data interoperability.
- Embed security architecture principles across all layers of the technology stack.
- Establish guardrails and governance for secure vendor and technology selection, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to proactively manage risk and ensure resilience.
- Participate and collaborate with the CIO and CIO staff to continuously balance short- and long-term technical needs, objectives, as well as oversee the realization of the architecture Continuum by providing guidance to members of engineering organization.
- Mentor solution architects and engineers to uphold best practices in enterprise architecture and service integration.
- Advocate for the value of a unified enterprise services model across the organization.
- Evaluate and optimize the enterprise technology and vendor portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities for consolidation, integration, and modernization of services and platforms.
- Leverage their extensive knowledge of network architecture, security practices, infrastructure optimization, and cloud computing to collaborate with other architects and technology teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure IT systems.
- Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; coordinate and delegate resources to accomplish organizational goals; partner internally and externally to make effective business decisions.
- Lead architectural projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Define and communicate architecture standards, guidelines, and statements of direction by facilitating the design and establishment of architecture standards or controls.
- Collaborate with project teams and business users to create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, processes, and standards.
- 7+ years of enterprise architecture experience with 3+ years in Multi-Specialty or Health care, or life sciences.
- Proven Experience in designing and managing shared technology foundations and modern technology stacks.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- Influence, communication, and leadership skills across technical, clinical, and executive domains.
