Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.You'll play a key role in ensuring the success of our procurement projects by driving supplier selection, negotiations, and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing Commodity Managers, tender teams, and supplier quality teams), monitor project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical) progress, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of setting up and managing the supplier selection process, but also contribute to building supplier relationships and supporting commodity strategies.We’ll look to you for:Leading the full supplier selection process, including tender preparation and supplier negotiationsMonitoring procurement project QCDT and ensuring compliance with work package commitmentsSecuring cost commitments by collaborating closely with costing and tender teamsOrganizing and leading Business Award processes using internal templatesEnsuring on-time delivery and quality during the ramp-up phase of projectsPromoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conductCoordinating projects with all métiers and internal stakeholdersConsolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy developmentSupporting global and local supplier panel relationships, including performance reviews and risk mitigationDriving supplier performance improvements in coordination with the supplier quality teamAll about you

Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s in Purchasing/Business is a plus)5–7 years of procurement experience in a design and manufacturing environmentAbility to work effectively in a matrix environmentStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetSelf-starter with an autonomous and results-oriented approachRigorous, structured, and detail-orientedFluent in French & English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset when dealing with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues and customers. In Quebec, French remains the main working language of our companyProficiency in managing supplier relationships, conducting negotiations, and driving performance improvementsThings you’ll enjoy
