- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects using appropriate tools.
- Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation testing techniques and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA automation tools and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of QA processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
