Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Business Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets across their retail network by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will effectively manage multiple priorities and collaborate across both internal teams and external partners to ensure a seamless and responsive customer experience.As the successful candidate, you will build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, proactively addressing concerns and fostering collaboration to meet shared goals. A key part of the role involves setting and tracking performance targets, preparing detailed reports for internal stakeholders, and overseeing sales sample inventories across the network. Additionally, you will support the creation of communication materials and presentations to keep our retail partners well-informed and engaged.Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic planning will be central to this position, alongside monitoring market trends and competitive activity. The role also includes participation in customer events, such as open houses and trade shows, and representing the company at industry-related functions.The ideal candidate brings a minimum of five years of sales experience in a B2B or related environment, with a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and closing new business. A post-secondary education is considered an asset. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, as is proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office suite. The ability to travel within Atlantic Canada-particularly within Nova Scotia-is required, with travel accounting for up to 50% of the role.
