- Active registration with ANBLPN
- Current BCLS certification
- Willing to participate in continuing education/certification programs (i.e. breastfeeding certification, non-violent crisis intervention, Periop 101, ASIST, cast application/removal, etc.) as outlined during orientation and onboarding within a defined timeframe.
- Minimum 1 year recent and direct experience (within last 5 years) in Mental Health, obstetrical, haemodialysis, medical/surgical, etc. may be required depending on the department. A combination of relevant work experience and related education training will be considered.
- Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to respond to emergent situations and prioritize care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to relevant legislation.
- Good work and attendance record.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Prioritizes and delivers care to patients within a collaborative setting, seeking clinical guidance as required.
- Professionally communicates and consults with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients while adhering to professional boundaries.

- Provides holistic patient care and therapeutic measures to meet patient care needs
