- Work closely with Contracts Lead and Contracts Director to create and maintain a cohesive and dependable Commercial Team
- Help ensure that Commercial contractual obligations are identified and met by the Joint Venture
- Assist project staff with identification, documentation, notification, and quantification of changes in the Work and claims
- Maintain appropriate contract records by monitoring and maintaining the Project Commercial log
- Assist Contract Lead and Contract Director in drafting commercial letters to client and subcontractors as required
- Transmit documents across to the client as required
- Assisting with preparation of reports with the Contract Lead as required
- Attend and support customer and JV project meetings and reviews
- Support close functional interface between Commercial, Finance and Project Controls
- Prepare finalized packages for Management signature prior to transmittal
- Coordinate and facilitate administrative communication with the client's counterpart, ensuring smooth contract management, updates, and compliance documentation
- Electronically organize and maintain all contract documents, transmittals, and other contract-related files, to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and record-keeping
- Other duties as assigned
- Technical or business post-secondary education
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the project management / contract administration
- Knowledge of construction project operations, policies, and procedures
- Basic knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proven attention to detail
