Job Description:We are looking for an organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between customers and field technicians, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery. This position is ideal for someone who excels in scheduling, multitasking, and providing exceptional support to both clients and team members.Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates on service work orders and addressing inquiries or issues with attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and assign work orders to field technicians, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including timesheets, work orders, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and manage daily schedules for field technicians, adjusting priorities as needed to accommodate emergencies or high-priority tasks.
  • Order and track necessary parts and equipment, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure technician compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures during daily check-ins and check-outs.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and other team members to resolve on-site challenges and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Continuously review and improve scheduling, dispatch, and procurement processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Support administrative tasks and share expertise with team members to foster collaboration and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in scheduling, dispatching, or administrative coordination, preferably within a service-oriented industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling and work order management software.
  • Familiarity with parts ordering processes and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide guidance to field personnel.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
