Location: FlexibleEDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONSCurrently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.Responsibilities:As a part of our team, you will:
- Carry out regular SRE tasks such as generating products' Failure rate/MTBF data, product useful life estimates, and RQMS data.
- Perform availability/reliability modeling to evaluate and forecast the performance of networking products at the module, system, and node levels.
- Estimate and/or investigate failure rates of components, modules, and cards to assess any potential deviations from Nokia's reliability standards.
- Contribute to SRE efforts by tracking product field failures and participating in efforts to resolve root causes, helping address reliability concerns in alignment with Nokia's business goals.
- Good exposure to hardware and/or software design concepts and practices
- Experience with scripting and other software coding languages is required, e.g., creating macros with Microsoft Office tools or creating SQL programs to store or pull data
- Good working knowledge of the various Communication/Telecom protocols, with a special focus on IP technology and standards for voice, content delivery, and data (L1 to L4 protocols)
