- Host scheduled newscasts, 24/7 streaming service and special productions in Vancouver
- Take a lead role in breaking news coverage
- Book, write and conduct newsmaker interviews every day
- Work with the editorial leaders on daily news coverage
- Write scripts and produce content from video gathered in the field
- Produce news stories in the filed when required
- Work with the team to produce prime time specials when required
- Experience in hosting a live newscasts and breaking news coverage
- Strong on-air presentation skills with an ability to ad-lib and conduct newsmaker interviews
- A passion for news and storytelling - you know what makes a great story and know how to tell it.
- Experience in long form video storytelling
- An understanding of multi-platform coverage, not confined by a 'typical' television reporter package.
- News moves fast! You must be able to multi-task and deliver for multiple, daily online and broadcast deadlines
