- Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
- Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
- Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
- May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
- May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

- Develop or assist in the development of studies, programs, concepts, preliminary and final plans and specifications for projects of varying type and scale
- Prepare, review and approve drawing, specifications and other documentation as required. These will range from design presentations documents to technical documents for building permit, tender and construction and technical reports
- Ensure designs are developed in compliance with client program of requirements and in compliance with local codes, standards and applicable regulations
- Ensure designs are developed in accordance with AECOM processes, design and quality standards
- Lead project coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, both internal to AECOM and external. Provides leadership by coordinating the work of others
- Interface with clients, authorities and other project participants as needed to achieve a successful project
- Work with AECOM design offices across the country, including participation in project teams and overall development of the design and technical quality of AECOM projects
- Proactively identifies and advocates for improvements to existing processes and procedures. Adjusts to new processes or changing assignments, and considers alternative approaches to complete work
- Completes assigned work independently and receives general guidance and direction on new projects, tasks and priorities
- No less than a University Degree in Architecture + Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Architect with the OAA.
