- Responsible for managing a sales team of 10 representatives in a defined geographic district across the cargo division. The primary role of a District Sales manager is to manage and develop sales representatives as well as implement divisional sales strategies that will meet or exceed the district, region and companies’ revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
- Implement strategies to influence the growth of the active customer base utilizing omnichannel strategies.
- Manage sales forecasts and budgets for the sales team and regularly monitor and manage performance to meet and exceed plan.

- Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives within the district.
- Effectively identify future opportunities for growth within the district;
- Educate and support Sales Representatives with Route Planning & Speedy Touch training;
- Appropriately deal with business situations and/or challenges with team members and customers;
- Effectively support and identify hiring needs and performance plans for Sales Representatives as required;
- Responsible to be actively involved in the recruitment process of all new Sales Representatives;
- Effectively train Sales Representatives on their key responsibilities.
- Division specific market and product knowledge to provide leadership in executing divisional strategies within the sales district
- Minimum 3+ years of outside sales experience.
- Prior experience in a leadership role or the completion of the talent development program ensuring strong coaching, training, and talent development skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Degree / Diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Critical thinker with an aptitude for change management and process improvement, adept at communicating insights derived from analyses.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can create authentic relationships with their team, and colleagues with the ability to motivate, influence, and engage others.
- Highly proficient in time management, ensuring success in balancing field work with urgent day-to-day office tasks.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience working with large customers
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive change and deal effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally. Proven ability to understand the business goals of the company and how to drive them forward in alignment with team role and responsibilities as well as customer needs.

- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Should live within the district and have the ability to travel with in the district and nationally, and work outside normal business hours as required.
