Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas.We are currently looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative to work out of our Grande Prairie Head Office.Responsibilities for this position include:

Manage current customer accounts while working to expand Rentco’s sales prospects
Working with customers to determine their requirements and assist them with the purchase of Rentco’s products with focus on heavy equipmen
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Rentco’s products
Creating quotes, invoices, and taking payments
Working with lending agencies as necessary to facilitate the sale
Working the front counter in the branch when required

Required skills and education:

2 years of heavy equipment retail or sales experience
Clean Drivers Abstract
Computer literate with proficiency using Windows and Outlook
Ability to travel to client sites within the Grande Prairie area
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
Ability to share the on-call rotation and the occasional Saturday shift.
Ability to always wear PPE including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
