Our client, a leader in high-precision manufacturing and automation, is seeking a Quality Technician (Manufacturing) to join their team. As a Quality Technician (Manufacturing), you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Quality Technician (Manufacturing)Location: Markham, ONShift: Day and Afternoon Shifts (supporting both)What's the Job?
  • Support the Quality team through inspection and quality-related activities in a production environment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T principles
  • Perform dimensional inspection and measurement techniques to ensure product quality
  • Utilize portable metrology equipment such as FARO arms (training provided if needed)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records
What's Needed?
  • Background in Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance within manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience with dimensional inspection and measurement techniques
  • Familiarity with portable metrology equipment (asset, training available)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
