- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications
- Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities
- Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Prepare electronic inspection and service reports
- 2-4+ years practical experience in the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic trade
- Journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school is an asset
- Working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies
- Successful candidate should be available to work overtime as needed and on customer sites
- Ability to work on a team of skilled mechanics in a shop or customer site environment
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps and gearboxes
- 2-4+ years practical experience in the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic trade
