We offer career and development opportunities for anyone with a passion for working on the latest technologies.Our expectationsUnder the quality manager, you will be responsible for investigating the validity and quality of the product and processes in order to be able to sign the authorized release certificate for production engines and parts in accordance with TCCA and FAA regulations. Authorized inspectors are approved by the Manager, Quality System & Processes (QS&P) as delegated by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA). You will ensure product integrity and quality control and perform visual inspections as needed. You will interact on a daily basis with the various teams, including engineering, production, aftermarket, various partners, suppliers, etc.What will your day to day will look like?Complete conforming engine documentation as to engine certification (logbook)Visual inspection of engines before deliveryDocument engine parts conformityUpdate the customer portal and others with the required engine information.Complete virtual documentation related to engine or part certification.Participate in and support quality investigations.Coordinate new AI and ODA training when applicable.The tools you need to be successfulMust havesDEC or DEP in aeronautics with minimum 5 years of experienceA minimum of 3 years' experience inspecting aeronautical componentsAssetsGood knowledge of the English language, written and oral, is required for this position considering the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the [candidate] will be called upon to interact.Expertise in and knowledge of aeronautic parts manufacturing.Experience in reading plans and geometric tolerances.Knowledge of Microsoft tools (mandatory).Knowledge of problem solving processes (e.g.: DIVE).Experience in quality control and in using measuring devices.Good interpersonal communication.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.Ability to multi-task.Knowledge of SAP (an asset).What we offerLong-term deferred compensation programsAdvancement programs to enhance education skillsFlexible work schedulesLeadership and training programsComprehensive benefits, savings and pension plansFinancial support for parental leaveReward programs for outstanding workDiversity, Equity & Inclusion
