If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about turning ambitious visions into reality, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.Key Responsibilities- Lead the civil design for industrial land and site development projects, including grading, drainage, utility coordination, and servicing strategies.
- Oversee the technical aspects of subdivision and site servicing projects, ensuring designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with ownership, municipal authorities, construction teams, and contractors to drive project approvals and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments to inform design and construction planning.
- Work with construction teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and completed on budget and on schedule.
- Oversee servicing strategies, grading plans, stormwater management, and utility coordination to optimize site functionality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and expertise as the organization scales.
- Build and refine internal processes for efficiency, repeatability, and continuous improvement.Skills and Qualifications- P.Eng designation in Alberta.
- 7+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development and infrastructure projects.
- Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth environments, particularly with subdivision, site servicing, and municipal approval processes.
- Deep understanding of grading, stormwater, sanitary, and water systems.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, and familiarity with municipal and regulatory standards.
- Experience navigating municipal approvals and working directly with city staff.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
- A bias toward action, entrepreneurial mindset, and a self-driven attitude.
