- Operate, monitor, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and building automation systems (BAS)
- Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and general repairs such as adjusting mechanical parts, patching drywall & painting, changing filters and replacing ceiling tiles
- Respond to service requests, alarms, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with external contractors as required
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to maintenance activities and compliance requirements
- Support Associates with Office reconfigurations; Workstation assembly and disassembly
- Provide customer service to Associates to facilitate and support their experience within the building
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
- Communicate effectively with occupants, vendors, and internal teams to support a positive building environment
- Travel to other locations when needed to perform maintenance and repairs or to facilitate external contractors
- Participate in the execution of projects working collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders
- On-call after hours and weekends - will be the primary after hours contact and first-responder
- Respond to emergencies and implement emergency mitigation and remediation
- Grade 12 and or post secondary education
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety legislation and best practices
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (email, work order ticket systems, invoicing systems, document database systems)
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for commercial facilities
- Familiarity with (BAS) Building Automation Systems
- Can utilize Architectural and Engineered drawings and specifications
- Training related to WHMIS, confined space, working at heights, or lockout/tagout
- Possession of a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation
- Participation in on-call rotation, and emergency response as required
- Availability to work fully in office
