Your role :Must answer and return customer calls.Must develop their territory by seeking new customers and maintaining their existing customer base.Must plan their work schedule to maintain optimal productivity.Analyze breakdowns and failures, assess the nature of repairs, and proceed with repairs if necessary.Clearly complete a repair report and identify the cause of each problem encountered.Order the parts needed for repairs.Adjust, repair, and/or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.Test repaired equipment to ensure that it is working and that repairs meet the manufacturer's requirements.Clean and lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance.Meet established repair deadlines.Notify the immediate supervisor and/or customer of any repairs required on units.Work safely.Clean the work area and keep workshop equipment in good condition.Comply with the policies and procedures established by the Service Department.Attend various training sessions, if applicable.When the work is completed, sign the work order to authorize billing, credit unused parts, assemble all required documents (external purchases, etc.) and send them to the supervisor. * Must always evaluate the impact of discussions with customers on the performance of products sold by SMS Equipment.

Oversee the assembly of machines, if necessary.
Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor.

What you bring :

Heavy Equipment Technician Certification. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of Komatsu products would be an asset.
Advanced knowledge of computer software’s and working with a portable unit.
Hardworking, proactive, self-reliant, team worker and focused on customer service.
Valid driver's license.
