- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Update and maintain journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses to reflect current financial data.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounting tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Handle accounts receivable, including collections and preparing monthly reports on overdue receivables.
- Manage accounting processes for both Canadian and US dollar accounts across multiple bank accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the team by maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation for all transactions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and accounts receivable processes.
- Ability to manage Canadian and US dollar accounts effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
