
Weekend Maintenace Supervisor

- Motivate the maintenance personnel.
- Determine proper crew for the job, coordinate, and follow-up.
- Be responsible for maintenance in the area assigned.
- Perform safety and quality monitoring of the job.
- Recommend improvements and cost reductions.
- Identify the causes of failures for breakdowns and repetitive repairs.
- Recommend skill levels and training courses for apprentices and journeymen.
- Ability to understand requirements and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and time management skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the company.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- High degree of collaboration with both Maintenance and Operations personnel.
- Working knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Excellent computer skills.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technologist or Red Seal trades certification; and,
- Related industry experience.
- Minimum 3-5 yrs of equivalent experience.
