You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. Your role will include creating all test artifacts in line with quality standards, ensuring that the product or application meets established quality criteria, including reliability, usability, and performance.Tasks and responsabilities:
  • Leads & directs all the efforts of QA team.
  • Create Test artifacts (Test strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Closure).
  • Define, implement and enforce departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards and procedures.
  • Identifies the testing strategy for the project, testing scope and co-ordinates with the teams for QA environment needs and readiness.
  • Participate in internal reviews of test cases.
  • Execute test plans, test cases and scripts.
  • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
QualificationsWhat Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent experience in software development.
  • 10 years in Quality Assurance (QA)
  • 5+ years in software testing
  • Experience in the retail industry (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
