How you'll make an impact
- Team Development: Supervise and nurture the growth of Client Service Brokers, ensuring they thrive in their roles.
- System Utilization: Ensure full utilization of all systems within the Commercial Department by all team members.
- Client-Driven Service: Uphold the Client Driven Service Model, ensuring staff adhere to its principles.
- Hiring & Training: Assist in recruiting new service staff and implement comprehensive training programs for successful onboarding.
- Performance Reporting: Provide weekly reports on staff performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure underwriting practices are understood, reinforced, and compliant with policy changes and renewals.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitor and adjust workflow and service standards to maintain peak efficiency.
- Carrier Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for insurance carrier service issues and procedural changes.
- Transaction Supervision: Oversee the processing of policy transactions and daily postings.
- Broker’s License: Active and in good standing, with ongoing maintenance of continuing education hours.
- Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Insurance Brokering or Commercial Property Underwriting.
- Education: Secondary School Diploma required; College or University Degree strongly preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Prior people management experience will be given priority.
- EPIC Experience: Familiarity with EPIC is an asset.
