- Own the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Zurich Canada's flagship Early Careers programs (internships, co-ops, apprenticeships), ensuring a high-quality experience from attraction through conversion into full-time roles.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for early talent, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and candidate conversion.
- Build and manage national early talent pipelines across key business areas such as underwriting, claims, actuarial, engineering, and commercial functions, aligned to 12-24 month workforce forecasts and evolving skill needs.
- Lead Zurich Canada's campus and early talent engagement strategy, including university, college, and community partnerships, campus events, career fairs, and early talent forums nationwide.
- Develop and refine a target-school and talent-market strategy, with a strong focus on strengthening bilingual talent pipelines in Quebec and ensuring equitable access to English and French early career opportunities across Canada.
- Partner closely with HR and business leaders to translate workforce plans and future skill needs into early talent sourcing, pipeline, and conversion strategies.
- Use recruiting systems, talent technology, market intelligence, and talent data to manage pipelines, identify trends, and generate actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion performance, diversity outcomes, and workforce readiness.
- Translate pipeline metrics, market insights, and workforce data into clear, executive-ready narratives that support HR and business decision-making.
- Drive a structured early talent conversion strategy, ensuring strong progression from internship and co-op programs into full-time roles and long-term career pathways.
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
- Experience within a staffing agency and/or corporate recruiting environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Experience with internet sourcing/advertising, direct sourcing, trade journal/newspaper advertising, employee referral campaigns, job fairs and outplacement firms
- 3-5 years' experience in campus recruiting, early careers, or full-cycle talent acquisition within a fast-paced, market-facing environment.
- Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to operate confidently across both language markets.
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with universities, business leaders, and external partners in a highly visible, externally facing role
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret talent data to identify trends, generate insights, and influence hiring and workforce decisions.
- Skilled at translating data into actionable narratives for leaders, helping them understand market trends and workforce needs.
- Passionate about building inclusive, diverse, and future-focused talent pipelines.
- Experience with SuccessFactors, Phenom, or similar ATS and talent CRM platforms is an asset.
- Comfortable leveraging recruiting technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to support sourcing, pipeline management, candidate engagement, and recruiting efficiency.
