This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.About the RoleWe’re looking for a versatile, driven individual with strong communication skills and business judgment to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst, Finance Solutions. In this role, you will act as a key enabler within a process modernization squad, supporting change and process re-engineering within Finance Operations. You will collaborate with teams across Element, including Continuous Improvement, Finance, Commercial, and Operations, while helping to frame and solve the challenges of a function seeking modernization. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of Finance Operations, drive continuous improvement, and help accelerate your career.What You’ll Do
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate, simplify, and automate processes in alignment with business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team driving tangible change across priority processes for productivity savings and enhanced experience.
  • Develop and document processes, standard operating procedures, and end-user materials.
  • Create and deliver training materials, tools, and templates for process owners, facilitating Q&A sessions as needed.
  • Design, implement, and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure process improvements and support rollouts.
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate complex business processes and performance.
  • Support process governance and ensure information templates and FAQs are available to process owners.
  • Lead change management strategies for governance and process changes.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback to refine and improve operating models.
  • Facilitate automation of analytical and operational tasks using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, or by providing requirements for RPAs and IT-led projects.
  • Manage financial data and analytics processes to equip the team with accurate insights for advanced analytics.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analysis, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in business process engineering, finance process modernization, top-tier management consulting, or as a data analyst in finance.
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of data-driven analysis linking business strategy, financial performance, and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automation technologies and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, Alteryx).
  • Familiarity with SQL and eagerness to learn advanced data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • MS Office proficiency: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio.
Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 - $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.What’s in it for You
