Coordinate the development and implementation of maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to established timelines and standards in correspondence with site scheduler and controllers. Support the execution of maintenance projects and preventive maintenance programs by collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams ensuring ensure seamless execution of the project. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Manage and prioritize backlogged work orders, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term strategic goals. Post secondary education is required in a mechanical discipline. Preference may be given to a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma. An Interprovincial Red Seal may be considered. A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be considered an asset. Minimum 8 years of work experience in Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Supervision, or a closely related discipline in a heavy industrial or mining environment. Previous experience coordinating major maintenance activities is required. Experience with CMMS such as SAP for project controls would be considered an asset. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Strong understanding of fixed plant asset repairs and maintenance processes. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex project priorities.
