- FEEDING: Place and align various products on the feeding conveyor with a consistent steady flow as required. Care should be taken to ensure that all the portions are completely separated and straightened
- BATTER: Keeping the portions separated to avoid doubles and the removal of portions that are not covered properly.
- FRYER: Ensure that the portions are evenly spaced, removal of portions that can be reworked. Portions are very hot. Proper hand protection (gloves) must be worn.
- SORTING SECONDS: As required, inspect finished product on the line to ensure that only first quality product is packed as such. Sort out all second quality products and pack appropriately.
- PACKAGING: Putting finished product into bags and/or boxes in a manner that allows the box to be closed, sealed or taped properly. Apply seal or overwrap if needed.
- MASTERS: Filling masters with bags or boxes of various weights, sealing the masters and placing them on skids.
- MAKING BOXES: This consists of affixing the label forming the box and using a hand stamp to apply a code date as required.
- Necessary skills for verbal and written communication in English.
- Must be willing and able to lift and or move materials
- We are hiring for the day and afternoon shifts.
- This position requires 100% physical effort which entails lifting and repetitive movements.
- The work environment is wet, damp, and dusty and refrigerated (50-degree F or less).
- Occasionally working in freezer environment. Warm clothing is required.
- The noise level may exceed 90 decibels. Hearing protection is mandatory.
- The use of safety rubber boots is mandatory.
- All PPE must be used as required for safety.
- There may be occasional travel between plants.
