What are the responsibilities of the job?
Safely set up, operate, dismantle, replace parts, and assembly of assigned
Assess, analyze and troubleshoot equipment
Be aware of and perform preventative maintenance and calibration
Conduct proper testing methods for the packages produced on the assigned
Understand the qualities and properties of the packaging materials used on
the assigned equipment; i.e. the proper heat sealing, temperature, dwell
time and pressure of materials
Provide feedback to management regarding any issues and/or ideas for
improving effectiveness, quality, safety, and equipment performance
Responsible to ensure proper clean-up activities are complete
Undertake training to enhance skills and knowledge
Comply with cGMP and internal procedures and standards
Comply with all applicable health and safety legislation
Perform any other related duties, or follow any other instructions as may be
directed by the Supervisor
Shift Available: Rotational basis - 2 weeks days - 2 weeks afternoons
(Monday to Thursday - 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM) (Friday - 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM)
(Monday to Thursday - 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM) (Friday: 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM)

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs):
Must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues
Able to take and provide direction
Knowledge of GMPs
Good communication skills (ability to read and write English)
Able to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending and reaching
Excellent hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities (i.e.
positioning, relays, sensors)
Understanding of solid dose and semi-solid filling into blisters, pouches and
Excellent eye-hand coordination, finger and manual dexterity needed
Self-starter with time management skills
Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
Must have 2 to 5 yrs experience in a production plant environment
Must have good problem-solving skills, Computer, and Mathematical skills
Must be computer literate with knowledge of using the Internet, MS Office/email
Strong attention to detail / Accuracy
Good knowledge of Cartoning, Blister, Packaging, and Labeling Machines & process
Comply with all applicable GMP, Health and Safety Training
Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references
