Join us to play a central role in our growth with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.TalentWorld is recruiting an Aviation Asset Manager in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.ResponsibilitiesOversee technical and financial aspects of maintenance projects at MRO facilities.
Validate and approve work scopes for component overhauls, repairs, and exchanges.
Develop work scopes for lease return and delivery requirements.
Provide technical expertise for lease-related decisions (returns, deliveries, repossessions, purchases).
Estimate costs for lease return and delivery work scopes.
Liaise with customers on technical and contractual matters.
Evaluate and approve maintenance reserve claims.
Conduct on-site technical audits at Lessee facilities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support marketing and operations teams during aircraft transitions.
Provide technical advisory for aircraft leasing, purchases, and sales.
Travel as needed for audits, customer meetings, and project oversight.
Mentor team members and drive process improvements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.
7+ years in senior aviation maintenance or management roles.
Licensed AME M2 or AME-E is a must.
Certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
Proficient in CAMP, Traxxall, and Microsoft Office.
Expertise in aircraft maintenance, lease processes, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with Dash 8, CRJ, or 737 Classic/NG preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
Proven experience in leasing, technical audits, and maintenance oversight.
