Maintenance Technician 2-RRCR

- Maintains life safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency power, sprinklers, etc.
- Performs active or preventative maintenance as directed
- Maintains parts and equipment inventories; anticipates requirements; submits purchase order requests
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees
- Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repairs, painting, furniture repairs, general facility repairs
- Hotel room maintenance experience an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Serving It Right certificate required
