- Set the strategic priorities and vision for Email Marketing as a Go To Market and Customer Engagement Channel with the Director, Pipeline & Marketing Automation.
- Responsible for the performance of email (including reporting and analysis) as a marketing channel, proposing strategy updates to senior management.
- Monitor and manage email deliverability, proactively resolving any issues that may impact the email channel.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to create new email programs and optimize existing ones, in support of monetization, lead generation and customer retention targets.
- Own email program design, experiment strategy, and processes relating to email marketing.
- Play an active role in building a best-in-class team, with a responsibility to contribute best practices and serve as a role model, nurturing the team member's growth and professional development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Extensive experience in digital marketing and significant leadership experience
- Solid understanding of B2B lead generation and email best practices.
- Experience reporting on email program and campaign performance to senior stakeholders and making recommendations for optimisation, as well as on developing successful new campaigns or programs, and running experiments to optimise existing ones.
- Experience working in systems like Marketo, SFDC, Litmus, ReturnPath and other related platforms.
