- In this role, you will coordinate daily inspections and field engineering efforts, manage RFIs and site clarifications from drafting to closeout, and review temporary works, set-outs, sequencing, and hold/witness points.
- You will maintain comprehensive daily logs, photo records, and concise progress reports to document site conditions and activities.
- You will verify TBM launch and arrival readiness, monitor operational parameters, and oversee the quality of segment installations and interventions.
- Your responsibilities will include managing SEM headings and sequencing, shotcrete application and testing, as well as inspecting lattice girders, steel ribs, and temporary linings while validating excavation classes.
- You will inspect and control support of excavation (SOE) systems, including diaphragm/slurry walls, secant/soldier piles and lagging, sheet piles, struts/bracing, and ground anchors, ensuring proper sequencing, preloading, lock-off, and as-built traceability.
- Additionally, you will implement and track instrumentation and monitoring systems (settlement points, prisms, inclinometers, piezometers, extensometers, load cells), interpret trends against trigger/action thresholds, and initiate timely mitigations and design check-backs.
- You will enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) measures, including material approvals, inspections, and the closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and site notifications (SNs).
- Upholding safety and environmental controls will be paramount, including managing permits-to-work, job safety analyses (JSAs), task hazard analyses (THAs), confined space protocols, and noise/vibration/dust management.
- You will proactively coordinate with geotechnical, structural, MEP, utilities, survey, contractor, designer, and client teams to resolve constraints and protect project schedules and quality.
